About GigPayCalc

GigPayCalc was created by BJ Williams, a small business owner and delivery driver in Lexington, Kentucky.

After many shifts delivering food, BJ noticed the same thing every driver eventually notices: the pay the app shows isn't the money you actually keep. Gas, car repairs, miles driven with no order, and self-employment taxes all come out later, and most drivers don't see the full picture until tax time.

GigPayCalc is a set of free, simple calculators built to fix that. Each tool answers one practical question a driver has, such as "Is this order worth taking?" or "How much should I set aside for taxes?", in plain language and on a phone screen.

Our approach

• Free and private. No sign-up. Calculations run in your browser and your numbers are never sent to us.
• Plain English. Every calculator explains how its math works.
• Current numbers. Tax figures are updated each year from IRS publications.
